Soldiers Vacation
New U.S. Army Welfare Department Rules for Expatriates in War Zones
The U.S. Army Welfare Department has implemented new guidelines for expatriates in war zones. These guidelines allow loved ones, friends, or relatives to request work leave on behalf of military personnel for the following reasons:
Health Leave:
This leave is for situations where an expatriate or soldier under the U.S. Army organization is not in good health and requires proper treatment at home. Loved ones, friends, or relatives may request this leave to ensure the soldier receives the necessary medical care.
Romantic Vacation:
Military personnel can request leave to spend quality time with a loved one. An exclusive and compelling reason is required for this type of leave to be granted.
Marital Leave:
This leave allows expatriates or soldiers to leave the war zone to marry their fiancée. The government provides this opportunity to support the personal commitments of military personnel.
These new rules aim to ensure the well-being and personal fulfillment of our soldiers while they serve in challenging environments.
Important Notice: Emergency Leave Procedures and Fees
Please be informed that emergency leaves are not free of charge unless there is a life-threatening emergency. You are expected to review the available leave categories and make your choice accordingly.
Emergency Leave Categories:
- 3 Weeks Leave
- 1 Month Leave
- 3 Months Leave
After selecting a leave duration, we will provide you with the associated fee. Payment should be made according to the selected leave option, based on your preference and the time you want your partner to spend with you.
Reasons for Emergency Leave Fees:
The fees for emergency leave applications are necessary to assist the U.S. military in covering replacement expenses and supporting troops who will take over duties from those on leave. This ensures that our troops are protected and can make judicious use of their time for the reasons they have applied and paid for.
Instructions for Applicants:
- Understand and adhere to the instructions and guidelines provided.
- Make complete payment for the chosen leave duration to avoid any mistakes or termination of approval.
- Inform us of your selected leave category so we can send you the appropriate payment details and instructions on the arrival date of your loved one.
Available Leave Durations:
- 1-3 Months Work Leave
- 6 Months – 1 Year Work Leave
Please specify the duration you are applying for on behalf of your loved one, friend, or relative in the war zone. We will then forward the necessary information for processing the leave.
